And again! An Oscar nominated short film becomes available, and as I've already written about Head over Heels before having seen this, it's time for a little addition to my earlier post!

The film:
It's actually not much different from what I had expected it to be. Admittedly it was slower paced, and quieter (soundtrack wise), but at least the pace fit the storytelling well.
I still agree with most of the things I said before, but some things that looked fresh in the trailer became boring towards the end of the film. Like the simpleness. The cinematography was still top notch, but stood out less than it did in the trailer.
This is what else I said in the last post:
I think this might actually be a contender with the other short films, so it's turning out to be quite a strong list of nominations this year!
I think now that it's not actually a contender. I kind of wish it was because you don't usually see claymation take the spotlight, and it deserves it too, but I think it can be content with getting an Oscar nomination.
